Coke in Egypt

Refael Bigio in Montreal remembers the moment that the regime of Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser seized his family’s property. He was driving to the factory with his father that traumatic August day in 1962. Police cordons surrounded the buildings at 14 Aswan Street in the Cairo suburb of Heliopolis. As Bigio and his father nervously stepped up the stairs, a policeman barked that the government had nationalized the business. "Give me the keys," he demanded. Once inside the offices, policemen and soldiers demanded the keys to the vault as well.

The nightmare of dispossession suffered by approximately one million Jews throughout the Arab world had finally descended upon the Bigio family. Brutal jailings and intimidation against Bigio family members culminated in a forced penniless exodus from the nation. The Bigios, along with a million other Jews across the Arab world, were expelled with just a few dollars in their pockets. The family fled to Canada. But the Bigios never forgot the life they knew in Egypt—or their assets.

The Bigio assemblage of warehouses and manufacturing buildings sprawled across 10,000 square meters in the midst of bustling Heliopolis traces its main commercial life to the 1930s when Bigio’s grandfather first bought the land and built a shoe polish plant. Eventually, the family business added a tin container operation to hold the shoe polish, and from that expanded into general tin plating. Eventually they produced tin bottle caps for soda. In 1942, at the height of World War II, a Coca-Cola licensed bottler became the family’s tenant, bottling the world-famous cola. Later the fruity drink called Fanta that Coca-Cola originally developed for the Nazi military was added. ...

Sean Hannity's Soul-Mate of Hate

The Nation

This year a man named Hal Turner sat before his computer at his suburban home in North Bergen, New Jersey, posting bomb-making tips on his website, hailing the firebombing of an apartment containing "Savage Negroes" and calling for the murder of immigrants. "When enough illegal aliens get killed they will stop coming to the country!" Turner wrote.

Turner was once a prominent activist in New Jersey's Republican Party. To area conservatives, he was best known by his moniker for call-ins to the Sean Hannity Show, "Hal from North Bergen." For years, Hannity offered his top-rated radio show as a regular forum for Turner's occasionally racist, always over-the-top rants. Hannity also chatted with him off-air, allegedly offering encouragement to Turner as he struggled to overcome a cocaine habit and homosexual leanings. Turner has boasted that Hannity once invited Turner and his son on to the set of Fox News's Hannity and Colmes. Today, Turner lurks on the fringes of the far right, spouting hate-laced tirades on his webcast radio show. Hannity, meanwhile, remains mum about his former alliance with the neo-Nazi, homing in instead on the supposed racism of black and Latino Democrats.

A former moving company manager and real estate agent, Turner cut his teeth as the Northern New Jersey coordinator for Pat Buchanan's quixotic 1992 presidential campaign. He was an aggressive self-promoter who found a platform for his views on the radio show of Bob Grant, which was broadcast by ABC's flagship station, New York City's WABC. Grant was a pioneer of right-wing radio and, incidentally, a hysterical racist. In March 1995, according to the media watchdog FAIR, Grant entertained the call of a promoter for the neo-Nazi group National Alliance who billed his mission as the "support of European males." "I don't have a problem with the National Alliance!" Grant twice declared. Less than one month later, the Oklahoma City Federal Building was blown up by a white supremacist who said he was influenced by the plot of National Alliance founder William Pierce's pulp novel, The Turner Diaries. Grant insisted on his show for days afterward that Arabs were responsible for the bombing.

WABC came under enormous pressure from the NAACP and other civil rights groups to dump Grant. He had called Haitian refugees "subhuman infiltrators"; remarked that the United States contained "millions of subhumanoids, savages who really would feel more at home careening along the sands of the Kalahari or the dry deserts of eastern Kenya"; and often promoted "The Bob Grant Mandatory Sterilization Program" for minorities. In 1994, after a group of African-American clergy members issued a plea for sponsors to boycott Grant's show, Turner, at the time a frequent voice as a caller on Grant's show, organized a pro-Grant rally in Trenton, which was attended by numerous members of the white supremacist Nationalist Movement. Two years later, WABC finally gave Grant the boot.

WABC tapped Sean Hannity to fill Grant's seat in the broadcast booth. For Hannity, who had spent his career in the wilderness of the right-wing radio circuit, the gig was like a dream. "I'd grown up listening to Bob of the most entertaining hosts I'd ever heard," Hannity wrote in his 2002 book, Let Freedom Ring: Winning the War of Liberty Over Liberalism. Hannity started out as a broadcaster at the liberal University of Santa Barbara. "But it didn't last long.... The left-wing management had a zero-tolerance policy for conservative points of view. And I was promptly fired," Hannity wrote. "They didn't like the comments one guest made on the show," he added, without specifying what those comments were. From there, Hannity was hired by the right-wing WVNN in Huntsville, Alabama, and then by WGST in Atlanta, where he filled in for his friend, the "libertarian" broadcaster Neil Boortz. By the time WABC brought him on board, he was already co-hosting Fox News's newly minted Hannity and Colmes, which, as of May, was America's second-rated cable news show, with 1.3 million households viewing each night.

On WABC Hannity inherited Grant's fan base of angry white males, who listened to his show in the New York City area. Hannity recognized his audience's thirst for red meat, racist rhetoric. However, he knew that if he wanted to avoid Grant's fate, he needed an air of deniability. When "Hal from North Bergen" began calling his show, Hannity found he could avoid the dangers of direct race-baiting by simply outsourcing it to Turner.

Josef Fritzl Clues Suggest Accomplice

Austria: Police questions as Josef Fritzl clues suggest accomplice
May 1, 2008

Pressure mounted on the Austrian authorities yesterday amid claims that bungling by police and local officials may have prolonged the agony of Elisabeth Fritzl, who was held in a dungeon and sexually abused by her father for almost a quarter of a century.

The investigation - though it has resulted in a confession and detention of the father, Josef Fritzl - is increasingly being questioned by Austrians who have been shocked by the case.

Franz Polzer, the police chief of Lower Austria, stonewalled as he was bombarded with questions from the media about the conduct of the case. He emphasised that Mr Fritzl, the father of seven children from an incestuous relationship, had acted alone in imprisoning his family in a cramped cellar beneath his home for 24 years.

We are not conducting an investigation into a crime involving accomplices,” he said. But Colonel Polzer also announced that the unravelling of the case was due to an anonymous tip-off.

Elisabeth, the 42-year-old victim, was detained in the grounds of the clinic where her critically ill daughter, 19 - one of her seven children - was being treated. The police seized Elisabeth, suspecting her of child neglect until she told the full story of her existence. Their action raises the question of who tipped off the police if not an accomplice? “Knowing about a crime is not the same as being an accomplice,” said Colonel Polzer. “The informant asked anonymity and we will respect that.” The police seem determined to rule out any possibility of someone being in league with Mr Fritzl.

Yet more clues point to third-party involvement. The door to the dungeon - which had received building permission as a nuclear fallout shelter - weighed 300kg (660lb) and could only have been hinged into position with the help of someone else. Mr Fritzl, moreover, went on several holidays, including at least one three-week stay in Thailand, leaving Elisabeth and her children in the cellar.

Even if the small pantry was full of cans it is unlikely that there would have been enough food to feed them. And there are still questions about how the imprisoned relatives disposed of their rubbish. Colonel Polzer blocked questions on the issue and seemed even to deny knowledge of Mr Fritzl's holidays and absences.

“If there is a home video from this Thailand trip then we would like the media to give it to us and we will then think about it.” The video, shown widely on television, shows Mr Fritzl and a friend from Munich riding on an elephant (off-camera commentary: “Hey, Sepp [Mr Fritzl's nickname] you had better show this to your wife to convince her that we're on safari, not hunting for humans”).

This has been ruled by the police as irrelevant. So far, the case is based on only two hours of testimony from Elisabeth, a partial confession from her father and DNA results, which confirm that he had an incestuous relationship. All further questioning of Mr Fritzl has been delayed until next week.

The key question so far has been why Mr Fritzl's sexual history was not taken into account. Although he was convicted of rape in the late 1960s, this record was expunged under an Austrian law that seeks to rehabilitate offenders after their sentence. “The essential lesson from this case is that previous convictions for sex crimes should be taken into account in the case of adoption,” said the Die Presse newspaper yesterday.

It is a call that has been echoed across Austria as outrage grows about the crime. Colonel Polzer emphasised that the investigation would continue for months and that “in the interests of ensuring that such a crime is never repeated” will seek to reconstruct in detail the last 25 years of Josef Fritzl's life. To that end, the police have been searching other properties owned across Austria by Mr Fritzl, 73.

But many basic elements of the investigation have not even been started. Rosemarie, his 68-year-old wife, has yet to be questioned. Police merely asked her whether she knew what was going on and found her denial credible.

No attempt has been made to track down all the tenants who have rented rooms in the house since 1984. One, Sabine Kirschbichler, lived for two years in the house recently and told the magazine Brigitte that she frequently saw Mr Fritzl carrying heavy bags of shopping into the cellar after dark. “Now, I realise why we weren't allowed to rent cellar space,” she said.

The local authorities have tried to fend off criticism that they ignored suspicious signs from the house.

“Elisabeth ran away from that house as a girl, police searched for her, brought her back and delivered her back into the violent embrace of her father,” says Hedwig Woelfl, the director of a child protection centre in Austria. “Running away from home was a clear sign of unhappiness ... but nobody apparently showed any interest in the fate of this girl.”

The chief executive of the region, Hans Heinz Lenze, showed reporters documents proving that his council's go-ahead for the adoption of three of Ms Fritzl's children was legal: no trace of a sex crime could be found. Social welfare teams visited the house 21 times, but never looked around. Yet the building had in the space of a decade registered one missing person and made the claim that three babies had been dumped on the doorstep.

The Fritzl home, in a busy street, was constantly visited by bureaucrats. Building inspectors checked out the underground bunker - before it was used as a prison - and fire safety inspectors checked the incinerator that was used to burn a baby's body and was metres away from the dungeon. The inspection team pronounced the ventilation shaft safe, gave Mr Fritzl the appropriate stamp and left.

The years of abuse

1976 Josef Fritzl begins to sexually abuse his daughter Elisabeth, 11

1984 On August 28 Elisabeth is drugged and handcuffed by Mr Fritzl soon after her 19th birthday. She is incarcerated in the basement of their three-storey home in Amstetten

1986 Martina Posch is sexually abused and murdered. The wife of Mr Fritzl had a campsite and guest house near to where the body of Ms Posch was found

1988-89 The first of Elisabeth’s children, a girl and a boy, who were fathered by Mr Fritzl, are born and held underground

1993-97 Elisabeth gives birth to two more girls and a boy. They appear on the doorstep and are taken in by Rosemarie, Mr Fritzl’s wife. The boy's twin dies soon after birth and is incinerated

2003 Elisabeth gives birth to another boy, who is also raised in the cellar

2008 Thge oldest daughter held underground becomes ill and is taken to hospital by Mr Fritzl on April 19. Doctors appeal for her mother to come forward

2008 Elisabeth and her father are picked up by the police on April 26

2008 Mr Fritzl admits on April 28 to sealing his daughter in the cellar and fathering her seven children

Alicia Keys on Fascist Conspiracies

Is Alicia Keys In Tune With The Conspiracy?

Genocide refers to the systematic destruction of a race of people in part or in whole. Too many Black people are unaware of the fact that such a plan is currently being carried out either directly through violent assaults by the police or indirectly by benign neglect.

Alicia Keys recently alluded to the government’s involvement in “Gangster Rap” and the deaths of Biggie and Tupac. Some so-called Black people started talking about how ridiculous it was for Alicia Keys to be thinking.

“She needs to shut up and just sing and play the piano.” No, what needs to happen is you need to “open up” your mind and start to think. For years now the government has been engaged in the science of psycholinguistics designed to control behavior. I know that it exists because I am one of a few Black psychologists who have been trained in psycholinguistic programming.

Psycholinguistics is defined as the study of the relationship between language and behavior. Language includes images, signs, symbols and gestures. During the several days of training we were given homework that included programming the waitresses who served us that evening. The media has been scientifically used to control everything from the food you eat, the car you buy or the person you vote for. Who are the people who sit on corporate boards and determine what movies and other media get funded or made?

Genocide refers to the systematic destruction of a race of people in part or in whole. Too many Black people are unaware of the fact that such a plan is currently being carried out either directly through violent assaults by the police or indirectly by benign neglect. Benign neglect includes the fact that many Black children are not being prepared for a high quality of life, due to their being either uneducated or undereducated. Millions of Black youth are dropping out of school. These are Black youngsters who are the victims of mentacide. Mentacide is the destruction of their minds. Black people who are being denied appropriate health care are being physically destroyed. The media are being used to spiritually and morally destroy Black youth. The fact is somebody’s trying to kill you.

Certainly not all White people are out to get us. However, some of us are too busy forgiving a system of White Supremacy that has been assaulting us since we were kidnapped from Africa. Go to Ghana, visit the slave castles and see the “Star of David” carved into the doors, indicating the presence of Jews. Then think about who is guilty and who is innocent. Certainly not all Jews owned slave ships but many of the elitists Jews did own slave ships. If you have forgotten the screams of our ancestors who were brutally and savagely beaten, raped and separated from their loved ones then try to remember the more recent images of the Katrina victims.

Look at what America did to the Indians. The reasons were economic. Rev. Jeremiah Wright accused America of dropping the atomic bomb, a weapon of mass destruction on the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, killing 110,000 people. The bombs were dropped on August 6, 1945. By 1950 another 230,000 Japanese had died from the effects of radiation. Of course America justified the act by claiming that it saved American lives. However, the real reason was economic. America is a capitalistic country that operates on the profit motive. Don’t be fooled. Everything is economic in America. The only reason our ancestors were brought to America was to insure an economic profit for the elite. Today Blacks, with the exception of a few, are costing America more than America is profiting off them. In addition, there are those who believe that unworthy people are sucking up too much of the planet’s oxygen and other resources. These folks are talking about a severe reduction in the world’s population.

Before you go into denial and claim that this is also happening to White people, let me remind you that the White elitists don’t care about the average White person either! Most White people are the descendants of Whites who were slaves both in Europe under feudalism—from the 9th to the15th century and in colonial America. Most Whites were brought to America as slaves (indentured servants). These White slaves played a significant role in the formation of the original thirteen British colonies. The term indentured servant was used because White slaves were British subjects who had legal rights. Hence, they couldn’t be maintained as slaves for more than about seven years. Meanwhile, the White female slave and the Black African slave were bred to create light skinned slaves. The product of racial breeding could be sold at the auction as America’s prize commodity. They told you all the Indians ran away and the Whites were too weak to work. That’s a lie. The reason some of us are part Indian and some White folks are part Indian is because the slave owners were cross breeding Indians, Blacks and Whites who were all property of the slave masters.

Not all White people are prejudice against Blacks. Not all Germans killed Jews. However, the Nazi party, not just Hitler, killed millions of Jews for mostly economic reasons. Many Jews were blindly marched off to concentration camps and eventually to their death. Most of them didn’t believe that they were going to be exterminated. They didn’t believe the conspiracy theories. Black genocide is already taking place. There is a great deal of evidence that Black people are deteriorating mentally, physically, spiritually and morally. As a scientist, I ask why. Is it because we are genetically inferior, mentally impaired, morally defective or is there another possibility? If you wanted to destroy a race of people how would you do it? How about contaminating their food and water, contaminating their brains with destructive mind-altering drugs or sound waves, creating a virus that has no cure, creating conflicts and violence against each other, destroying their relationships, families and communities? If you had the assignment how would you carry out the plan?

White folks say it is only so if you can prove it. Where is the evidence of racism and genocide? African Psychology tells us that there are many things the enlightened mind has knowledge of. Such enlightenment does not need White approval. Perhaps Alicia Keys will earn her place along side Paul Robeson, Harry Belafonte, Bob Marley, Min. Louis Farrakhan and a host of musicians and entertainers, including Dick Gregory who are among the many enlightened Blacks that have influenced our minds. Are you absolutely sure that Alicia Keys has not struck a cord?

Official: History of Injuries Found in Polygamist Sect Children

The sect says a man must have three wives to attain salvation

AUSTIN — Dozens of children seized from a West Texas polygamist sect had broken or fractured bones in the past and some of the boys may have been sexually abused, state officials said today.

Medical exams indicate that at least 41 of the 463 children in state custody had previous broken or fractured bones, Carey Cockerell, head of the Texas
Department of Family and Protective Services, told a Senate panel this morning.

"Specifics about the investigation are confidential in order to protect the privacy of the children and others," Cockerell said. "But I can tell you generally, we are further investigating the following findings: historical physical injuries and fractures that we have found via medical exams and medical record review.

Several of these fractures have been found in very young children and several had multiple fractures."

Most of the information about the fractures was reported to Child Protective
Services by the children or their mothers. Few X-rays have been done on the
children, agency officials said.

In a written update provided to lawmakers today, the state CPS division says it is looking into possible sexual abuse of boys, based on interviews and journal entries.

"We are also following up on discussions with young boys regarding sexual
abuse," Cockerell said.

For the past month, child welfare investigators had focused nearly all of their attention on the alleged sexual abuse of young girls who once resided with their parents at the Yearning for Zion Ranch outside Eldorado, alluding only occasionally to suspected physical abuse.

This is the first time state officials have provided specific information on what might be considered physical abuse and indicated that boys were sexually abused, too.

No other details were available about the possible abuse of the boys or how
many of the fractures, which affect less than 10 percent of the total child
population from the sect, can be attributed to their life on a large ranch with a large amount of construction and farm equipment.

It was not clear how many of the children might have been injured while playing or working on the 1,700-acre ranch they once called home.

Cockerell made the statements before the state Senate Health and Human
Services Committee's hearing on Texas' foster care system.

Earlier this month, the state seized all 463 children from the ranch amid
allegations that underage girls were being "spiritually married" to much older men and sexually abused.

The followers belong to a breakaway Mormon sect that practices polygamy. It is known as the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The children have been placed in group homes and shelters around the state.

FLDS spokesman Rod Parker called Cockerell's testimony "a deliberate effort to mislead the public."

Parker said any broken bones would have been treated in medical facilities away from the ranch in Eldorado and that doctors are required to report suspected abuse.

Parker said state officials were "trying to politically inoculate themselves from the consequences of this horrible tragedy."

On Monday, CPS announced that almost 60 percent of the underage girls from the Eldorado ranch are pregnant or already have children. Another child was born to a teen mother on Tuesday.

CPS officials have said that determining ages has been one of the agency's
biggest challenges. The agency reached the 53 total after reclassifying 26 girls, who had been considered older than 18, as younger than 18.

Stephanie Goodman, spokeswoman for the state's Health and Human Services Department, said those girls were reclassified after telling officials they were younger than 18.

''For most of these children, we've been given different ages and different
names," Goodman said. ''We have teenagers who can't tell us their birthdates.

Some have answered (that) they don't know. Others have said 'I'm not supposed to tell you.' "

Under Texas law, children under age 17 generally cannot consent to sex with an adult. A girl can get married with parental permission at 16, but none of the sect's girls is believed to have had a legal marriage under state law. The Associated Press contributed to this report.

Review of Mary, Ferrie & the Monkey Virus:
The Story of an Underground Medical Laboratory

by Edward T. Haslam
1995, Wordsworth Communications
ISBN 0964398125
Illustrated, 258 pages.

By Kelleigh Nelson:

Ed Haslam's book is a major dot connector. Think about it. We already know thanks to A&E's Investigative Reports that Oswald did NOT kill Kennedy, but that's not the big jist of this book. What needs to be understood is that the polio virus vaccine all the baby boomers received via shots and sugar cubes in the 50s and 60s was contaminated with SV-40 Simian Monkey Virus...the epidemic of soft tissue cancer. And SV-40 shows up in autopsies of cancer victims. However, even more horrific is that the SV-40 contamination does not end with those of us that received the polio vaccine.

It is passed to our children and grandchilren even though they have not received the vaccine. Who is responsible? Ed Haslam's fabulous research was given to us in this book in 1995, and five years later, in the February, 2000 issue of Atlantic Monthly, it is finally discussed by the "regular" media.
Edward T. Haslam

Edward T. Haslam, a political-medical researcher in northern California, is the author of Mary, Ferrie & the Monkey Virus: The Story of an Underground Medical Laboratory (Wordsworth Communications, 1995), one of the most penetrating books on CIA experimentation in recent years. The book details the history of one of many paths of federal experiments with carcinogenic viruses. Haslam: "In the 1950s and 1960s, Soviet scientists were ahead of U.S. scientists in certain areas of medical research, one of which was cancer-causing monkey viruses.... Whatever the motive, the U.S. government wanted the work done. The money was provided for researching monkey viruses through convenient channels, but the doctors were not supposed to talk about it. In the process, New Orleans became one of the leading centers of knowledge about immunology and retro-viruses. The doctors who specialized in pathology had access to this knowledge, to these monkeys and to their viruses."
Review: Dr. Mary's Monkey
By James DiEugenio

I first encountered Ed Haslam back in 1992. He had written a letter to my publisher, Sheridan Square Press, about his accidental encounter with Guy Banister's files in New Orleans in the 1980's. The publisher sent me his essay. I found it quite interesting and felt he really had discovered who had Banister's legendary files after his death. So I got in contact with him and put him in touch with the PBS team that was researching the area at the time. Haslam discovered the identity of the person who he encountered ten years previous. It was Ed Butler, the man who debated Oswald in the summer of 1963 and "exposed" him as a communist defector. Butler, of course, worked for Dr. Alton Ochsner's rightwing propaganda outfit, INCA. It later turned out that INCA was closely associated with the CIA who rerouted their "Truth Tapes" throughout Latin America.

David Ferrie in his Opes Dei Vestments at St. Mary's Seminary

Early on in our relationship, Ed made it clear to me that he was not all that interested in the JFK case. He was pursuing something related to it, but tangential. When I visited him at his home in Albuquerque, I discovered that he was much more interested in Dr. Mary Sherman and her relationship with David Ferrie. He pointed out to me that Jim Garrison had mentioned her in his Playboy interview as being associated with Ferrie. He had me read the brief passage:

David Ferrie had a rather curious hobby in addition to his study of cartridge trajectories: cancer research. He filled his apartment with white mice --- at one point he had almost 2000, and neighbors complained --- wrote a medical treatise on the subject and worked with a number of New Orleans doctors on means of inducing cancer in mice.

After the assassination, one of these physicians, Dr. Mary Sherman, was found hacked to death with a kitchen knife in her New Orleans apartment. Her murder is listed as unsolved. Ferrie's experiments may have been purely theoretical and Dr. Sherman's death completely unrelated to her association with Ferrie; but I do find it interesting that Jack Ruby died of cancer a few weeks after his conviction for murder had been overruled in appeals court and he was ordered to stand trial outside of Dallas --- thus allowing him to speak freely if he so desired.

Dr. Sherman, Haslam told me, was a world-class medical doctor who was a surgeon, professor, and researcher. I looked at him inquisitively and he delivered the punch line: "What would someone like that be doing mixed up with someone like Ferrie?"

It was a good question. Haslam spent the next three years of his life searching for the answer. That search led him on a fascinating journey into the subterranean underground that made up New Orleans in the late fifties and sixties. (That search resulted in his 1995 book, Mary, Ferrie and the Monkey Virus, of which Dr. Mary's Monkey is a re-titled, revised and expanded version.) It crossed paths with Garrison's investigation of the JFK case and Ed got some valuable leads from it. But, as he told me, that was not the main focus of his quest. He wanted to find out the answer to three major questions:

What was the relationship between Mary Sherman and Ferrie?

What were the true circumstances of her death?

Why were those circumstances covered up?

Jim Garrison in the role of Chief Justice Earl Warren in Oliver Stone's JFK

His search began with the above noted passage from Garrison's Playboy interview. It was filled in, and his interest bolstered, by encounters with local people from New Orleans in his youth. For example, Haslam went to school with the son of local coroner Nicolas Chetta. In class one day after the Shaw verdict, he talked about some of the things Garrison had turned up that were being ignored by the press:

Then Nicky started talking about Ferrie's apartment, which his father had seen the day Ferrie died ... They found a small medical laboratory with a dozen mice in cages which he used for medical experiments. His medical equipment included microscopes, syringes, surgical tools, and a medical library. When they talked to Ferrie's other landlords, they were told of a full-scale laboratory in his apartment with thousands of mice in cages. It seemed clear that he was inducing cancer in the mice! Ferrie claimed that he was looking for a cure for cancer, but Garrison's investigators thought that he was trying to figure out a way to use cancer as an assassination weapon, presumably against Castro and his followers. (Pgs 45-46)

Haslam then describes how a student then asked, "How could they induce cancer?" To which Chetta Jr. replied they had been "injecting mice with monkey viruses." (p. 46)

After a pause, another student mentioned something that probably did not have an apparent connection back then. Something about a "kid down at Tulane Medical School who was dying from the total collapse of his immune system. They couldn't figure out what was causing it. They gave him every antibiotic they had and nothing worked." Haslam describes another student commenting at this time: "That means they were developing a biological weapon. What happens if it escapes into the human population?"

The teacher tried to change the subject at this time, but at the end of class Haslam was so provoked that he told a friend, "Well, the good news is if there's a bizarre global epidemic involving cancer and a monkey virus thirty years from now, at least we'll know where it came from." (p. 48)

This gripping exchange contains the essential thesis of the book in micro. And although one cannot say that Haslam proves it to the courtroom standard, i.e. beyond a reasonable doubt and to a moral certainty, he certainly does present a provocative and disturbing circumstantial case. For instance, several pages of Ferrie's legendary treatise on cancer were found in the National Archives by researcher Peter Vea. Haslam examined them and has dated them to about 1957, and argues that they could not actually have been written by Ferrie. The information is too state of the art, the references too complete and exotic, the concepts and experiments described firsthand too advanced and nuanced. Clearly, it was written by someone at least at the level of Mary Sherman, and probably above that. He then traces the bibliography and ideas in the treatise and concludes that they center on proving the case for a viral theory of cancer. From certain idiosyncrasies displayed in the experimental protocol, Haslam postulates that the writer had to have been either Sarah Stewart or Bernice Eddy. And if he is correct on this then Garrison stumbled onto a real find that he was not aware of.

Dr. Alton Oschner

Sarah Stewart and Bernice Eddy were two of the most respected and advanced cancer researchers in America who worked, among other places, at the National Institute for Health. Second, they were trying to prove that cancer could be transferred by a virus. Third, they were both around during the famous Salk/Sabin "sugar cube" mass inoculation for polio in the fifties. Although this is usually hailed as a triumph over polio, what many people do not know is that several children died right after getting the vaccine. As Haslam puts it: "Within days, children fell sick from polio, some were crippled, some died." (pgs 203-204) One of the children who died was the grandson of Dr. Alton Ochsner who championed the vaccine against some doubts in high places about its safety. This is why Sabin had to refine the vaccine after its initial release.

The doubts were articulated later on by Bernice Eddy.

As Haslam notes: The vaccine's manufacturers had grown their polioviruses on the kidneys of monkeys. And when they removed the poliovirus from the monkey's kidneys. They also removed an unknown number of other monkey viruses. The more they looked, the more they found. (p. 207)

In 1960, Eddy, who had harbored suspicions about these viruses and the vaccine, went public with her fears. At a talk in New York she stated that she had studied the monkey kidney cells used in the formation of the polio vaccine and found they were infected with cancer-causing viruses. As Haslam notes, "This was tantamount to forecasting an epidemic of cancer in America." (Ibid) As documented by Edward Shorter in The Health Century, Eddy suffered professionally from her public warning. Quoting Shorter, "Her treatment became a scandal within the scientific community" (p. 208).

But right after this, Haslam presents several statistical charts and graphs (pgs 210-216), which present fairly convincing evidence that the Salk/Sabin vaccine may have caused more deaths than it cured. He outlines, at the very least, a provocative statistical case that the monkey viruses were behind a high growth in soft tissue cancers: lung, breast, prostate, lymphoma, and melanoma of the skin. I am not in any way a skilled or educated epidemiologist. But this part of the book certainly warrants a survey by one. The other connection Haslam makes here is to the AIDS virus. What he seems to be saying here is that the possibility exists that Mary Sherman may have mutated a monkey virus into HIV-1. The means being a linear particle accelerator she had available to her in New Orleans at the U.S. Public Health Service Hospital. (Haslam does a nice job of laying in the background of the research on monkey viruses done in the New Orleans area in the fifties that makes this theory possible. See Chapter 1, "The Pirate.")

Another exceptional aspect of the book is the work Haslam has done on the death of Mary Sherman. He clearly demonstrates that the police were puzzled by the bizarre circumstances of the case. Because someone smelled smoke in her apartment, her body was found early on the morning of July 21, 1964. Her body was horribly burned and hacked with a knife. Her car was found several blocks away with the keys thrown on a neighboring lawn. The first reports in the New Orleans papers state that the motive was burglary. Yet the door had not been forced open and her box of jewelry was left behind. Further, none of her neighbors heard anything that night, which is odd considering the brutal circumstances of the killing. The burglary angle was dropped and a psychosexual angle was then attached. Yet there was no evidence of sexual molestation. Three weeks after the murder the local papers announced a press blackout by the police. And the day after the press announced that the "police say they have no clue on the murder ..." (p. 124) Further, the police and autopsy reports on her death were never published or made available to the public. Haslam found them after a lot of hard work and digging. And he includes the autopsy protocol in his document appendix. The most fascinating part of this document is that one of the causes of death was "Extensive burns of the right side of body with complete destruction of right upper extremity and right side of thorax and abdomen." ( p. 354, italics added) Haslam takes these bizarre circumstances, especially the extreme temperatures needed to eliminate a large part of her right side and thus lays the ground work for what he sees as the real way she died. Again, it's not probative, but it is fascinating.

I should also add here as other distinguished aspects of the book, the two chapters devoted to David Ferrie and Alton Ochsner. Haslam found the valuable and detailed Southern Research report done on Ferrie. (Southern Research later turned into Wackenhut.) And he builds his chapter on Ferrie largely based on this report. It is quite extensive, going all the way back to Ferrie's teenage years in Cleveland, Ohio. The chapter on Ochsner is also quite good; it is probably the best short essay on him that I have seen. No JFK book can come close to it. Finally, in this new edition, Haslam has added many more illustrations, pictures, and maps that let you visualize his story as he tells it.

On the negative side, I believe Haslam puts too much stock in Judyth Baker. And his epilogue about Oswald, entitled "The Perfect Patsy," is both superfluous and shallow.

But outside of that, this is quite an interesting, well-organized, and crafted book. Because he was an ordinary citizen working many years after the actual crime, Haslam could not actually solve the mystery of the death of Mary Sherman. But what he has given us is the next best thing: a documented, insightful, and arresting alternative to the unsatisfactory, or missing, official story. Except in this case, that alternative may have huge implications down to the present day. His work deserves attention and accolades.

Was Jeremiah Wright's Speech Set Up by a Clinton Supporter?/Dr. Barbara A. Reynolds on the ML King Murder Conspiracy

LA Times Blogs

Well, here's a most interesting connection we just came across.

Everybody is talking today about how much the Rev. Jeremiah Wright's latest unrepentant militant remarks hurt his most prominent parishoner, Sen. Barack Obama, and his chances to win the Democratic presidential nomination and the general election. So much so that the Obama camp realized the latent danger overnight and the candidate was forced to speak out publicly a second time today, as The Ticket noted here earlier today.

There was little doubt left in today's remarks by Obama, who recently said he could no more disown Wright than he could the black community. He pretty much disowned Wright today. Obama described himself as "outraged" and "saddened" by "the spectacle of what we saw yesterday."

But now, it turns out, we should have been paying a little less attention to Wright's speech and the histrionics of his ensuing news conference and taken a peek at....

who was sitting next to him at the head table for the National Press Club event.

It was the Rev. Dr. Barbara Reynolds, a former editorial board member of USA Today who teaches at the Howard University School of Divinity. An ordained minister, as New York Daily News writer Errol Louis points out in today's column, she was introduced at the press club event as the person "who organized" it.

But guess what? She's also an ardent longtime booster of Obama's sole remaining competitor for the Democratic nomination, none other than Sen. Hillary Clinton of New York. It won't take very much at all for Obama supporters to see in Wright's carefully arranged Washington event that was so damaging to Obama the strategic, nefarious manipulation of the Clintons.

Their supporter, Reynolds, helps arrange a speech by the outspoken and egocentric Wright which receives blanket national coverage to the disadvantage of Clinton's opponent. As Louis writes: "The Rev. Jeremiah Wright couldn't have done more damage to Barack Obama's campaign if he had tried. And you have to wonder if that's just what one friend of Wright wanted."

Reynolds has not returned e-mails or phone calls seeking comment, but Louis notes the obvious conflict between her political allegiance and her press club arrangements. He quotes a February blog entry of Reynolds saying, "My vote for Hillary in the Maryland primary was my way of saying thank you" to Clinton and her husband for his administration's successes.

In another entry, Reynolds notes critically of Obama, "It is a sad testimony that to protect his credentials as a unifier above the fray, the senator is fueling the media characterization that Rev. Dr. Wright is some retiring old uncle in the church basement."

Louis notes himself about the Wright appearance: "It's hard to exaggerate how bad the actual news conference was. Wright, steeped in an honorable, fiery tradition of Bible-based social criticism, cheapened his arguments and his movement by mugging for the cameras, rolling his eyes, heaping scorn on his critics and acting as if nobody in the room was learned enough to ask him a question."

(UPDATE: Sylvia Smith, the press club president, confirmed today that Reynolds is on the club's speakers committee. She told Michael Calderone on that she still doesn't know whom Reynolds supports for president, adding, "Rev. Wright is newsworthy, period.")

Dr. Barbara A. Reynolds on the ML King Murder Conspiracy

APRIL 2, 2008
By Dr. Barbara A. Reynolds

And when his brothers saw him they said one to another, "behold the dreamer cometh," come now and slay him…and we shall see what will become of his dreams. (Genesis 37:18-20)

I have given lip service to the unprecedented saga of Senator Barack Obama to become president of the United States, but not my heart-felt support. I wonder is it because I have seen so much tragedy confront our big dreamers, especially African-Americans, that like a mother to a son I have to curb my enthusiasm.

In a few days we commemorate not only the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, but also the mysterious death and possible assassination of the first black Commerce Secretary Ron Brown. On April 3, 1996, on the eve of Dr. King’s murder-- some 28 years before-- Brown’s plane went down, along with 34 others, on a mountaintop in Croatia.

Not only have these two great men been taken from us, but also the historic memory of why they died, how their dreams have been twisted and what does all of this portend for the next Big Dreamer.

If Dr. King and Brown were only dreamers, they would have been alive today. Dr. King was one of the 20th century’s greatest prophets, a man who had the skills to analyze, organize and activate. The King movement showed first the victims and then the victimizers that the way U.S. blacks were forced to live under a reign of terror, without dignity nor democracy, was a sin and a scandal.

King and the movement reordered traditional social relationships. That meant no longer would blacks, browns, women, the handicapped or any other group accept the status of a valueless nobody without a fight. And this vision of equality was translated into a world-view that challenges this nation’s concept of a global superiority that permits it to invade other countries to steal their resources and subjugate their people.

King, the activist, is not the King that the media serves up ever King holiday that has him sleepwalking through history. The King the media has created could be used in ads for mattresses: "Come buy the King mattress and you too could have a dream."

King in his prophetic mission did not always use somnambulistic language, but fiery challenges, not much different from the spirited sermons of Pastor Jeremiah Wright. King often quoted the Negro fight song that "before I be a slave, I’ll be buried in my grave and go home to my Lord and be free."
King’s militant non-violent context resulted in his death. Unfortunately as we commemorate his death, the nagging questions surrounding it, as well as that of Brown, remain. For example:

Why were the two black firemen who watched over Dr. King when he was in Memphis transferred from their post the evening before the killing?

Why has the sworn testimony of Lloyd Jowers been ignored? Jowers, who owned Jim’s Grill across from the Lorraine Motel, said he was offered $100,000 from a Mafia businessman to set up the killing of King in which a patsy (James Earl Ray) would be provided. Jowers said after the shooting, he took the "smoking rifle," from the hit man, who was not Ray.

Why has Rev. Walter Fauntroy, the former delegate from the District of Columbia, who was on the sub-committee of the King assassination panel, maintained: "The assassination was a conspiracy involving operatives in our intelligence agency, including the military, along with the Mafia and corporate interests."

In the case of Brown, two weeks before his plane crashed, he called me to his office to observe a new plan of action, which he felt would drastically change the plight of Africa, by launching a new program based on trade not aid.

Brown, too, was a big dreamer whose dreams would have benefited people of color globally. Few people these days mention him nor is there any action to investigate why forensic pathologists stepped forward and put their careers on the line to say that Brown’s skull had a hole that resembled a bullet wound. Yet, to my knowledge there has been no independent autopsy and neither are the media or civil rights groups clamoring for it.

No credible explanations were ever given to why there were no cockpit recorders aboard the government aircraft, why an experienced pilot was replaced by someone with lesser experience and why the maintenance chief at the airport where Brown’s plane crashed, was found dead before U.S. investigators reached him, reportedly from a self-inflicted wound.

If Obama becomes the first black president, this would mean a black man would be commander- in -chief of the most lethal superpower on the globe. In addition under his administration, he could influence world trade, the global financial markets, the course of the Middle East and shape the direction of the U.S. Supreme Court.

Even more important, Obama would possibly be privy to all or most of the United States dirty secrets.

At least two other African-Americans who stepped on or into the power stream of the United States were taken out.

As the nation commemorates Dr. King, I can’t help but worry if the rulers of a nation built on the foundation of white supremacy will once again see the dreamer coming.''

And then would they slay him?

FLORIDA: Political Big Shots Giving McCain's Campaign a Lift

Apr. 28, 2008

Candidates are required to list the occupation of donors who give $200 or more so that the public can see which industries and special interests are buying in, but the Federal Elections Commission rule is routinely flouted with mumbo jumbo like "information requested per best effort.''

Apparently, John McCain's campaign couldn't even dig up the identity of one Charles J. Crist Jr. of St. Petersburg, who gave $2,300 -- the maximum donation -- on March 11. Hmmmm . . . the name sounds vaguely familiar.

Other noteworthy names on the presumptive Republican nominee's most recent donor list: former House Speakers Allan Bense and John Thrasher, developers Mel and Brent Sembler, and political consultant Sally Bradshaw (formerly all of Mitt Romney's campaign) and political consultant Randy Enwright (formerly of Fred Thompson's campaign).

And here's one more: former Gov. Jeb Bush, who gave $1,000.

Inside Josef Fritzl's Cellar Dungeon

BBC, 29 April 2008

For 24 years Elisabeth Fritzl and three of her children lived an isolated life in three tiny underground chambers, deprived of natural light and room to move around freely.

The rest of the Fritzl family lived in the house upstairs and had been forbidden by the domineering Josef Fritzl from ever going into the cellar, where the dungeon was.

The secret location was so well hidden that when the police searched the property they failed to find it until Mr Fritzl showed them where it was.

The dungeon is entered via a narrow passageway leading into rooms that include a cooking area and shower facilities, with children's drawings on the walls.

The cellar rooms cover an area of approximately 60 sq m (650 sq ft).
They are reached through a massive reinforced concrete door which was hidden behind a shelf in Mr Fritzl's workshop, which was in the cellar under the family house.

ORF, Austria's public broadcaster, reports that the workshop and cellar area was strictly off limits to the Fritzl family members who lived upstairs.

The secret door was electronically locked and could only be opened with a special code and a remote control - which Mr Fritzl is reported to have carried with him at all times.

The tiny rooms were decorated with pictures and personal belongings

The dungeon is divided into cells - some parts no more than 1.70m (5.6ft) high.

A narrow corridor, five metres long, leads to an area which includes cooking facilities and a small bathroom with a shower. The floor is uneven and bumpy. A tube provided ventilation.

Police said there were also two bedrooms - each containing two beds. At least part of the dungeon appeared to be padded and well sound-proofed.

Police have refused to circulate pictures of the victims' sleeping areas or possessions to the press, saying they wished to protect their privacy.

The rooms are described as being neat and tidy. There are no windows. The three children who lived in the cellar, 19-year-old Kerstin and her two brothers aged 18 and five, had never seen daylight, and grew up with artificial light.

They had no fresh air and no room to exercise or run around. Hospital officials said the lack of oxygen may have contributed to Kerstin's illness.

She remains in a critical condition. Police described the two boys as very pale, small and weak.

A narrow passageway led to separate sleeping areas

Children's paintings and posters were hung on the walls. Police say there was a television with a video player and a radio.

All of Elisabeth's seven children were born in the dungeon without medical supervision. One died shortly after being born. As Mr Fritzl's secret family grew, he began to enlarge the dungeon. Police say it is still unclear how he managed to carry out this construction work secretly, as well as deliver food and clothing to Elisabeth and the three children without being noticed.

They believe the underground dungeon was originally one room, equipped only with washing facilities, which was gradually enlarged over the years. It is thought Mr Fritzl may also have expanded under the house's garden.

Amstetten authorities authorised the building of a cellar in 1978, city spokesman Hermann Gruber told the Austria Press Agency.

Mr Gruber said inspectors examined the project in 1983 - the year before Elisabeth went missing - and did not notice anything suspicious, but that he believed Mr Fritzl had not stuck to the original plans but had secretly expanded the cellar area.

The World According to Monsanto Expose' Disappears from the Internet

by Barbara Peterson

The excellent French documentary titled The World According to Monsanto – A documentary that Americans won’t ever see, is evidently living up to its name. When I first became aware of this movie, I immediately watched it, then placed it on my websites. Today I checked the link, and found that the video is gone. In fact, when I typed the title “The World According to Monsanto” into the Google search engine, I couldn’t find the full video anywhere.

This is a call for action. If you find this video anywhere on the Internet, please let me know. If you haven’t seen it, you need to. If you have seen it, you know what a powerful video it is for exposing the corruption of Monsanto and the U.S. government. If Google Video has removed this documentary in acquiescence to the U.S. government or Monsanto, then that is testimony to the power and corruption behind the massive corporate movement to wage war on the environment and all living things in the pursuit of profit and power, the people be damned.

Siv O’Neall states:

The gospel according to Monsanto is that their patented GM seeds and their bovine growth hormone (BGH) will increase worldwide production of agricultural, dairy and meat products and Bt cotton to the extent that worldwide hunger and poverty will be eradicated.

The actual truth is rather the opposite. GMOs are creating serious damage all over the world and artificial BGH injection in cows cause numerous health problems, and even death.

Monsanto is not held back by any considerations of ethics and it hides the reality of its sordid machinations behind a wall of secrecy. Everything Monsanto does is exclusively with the intent of increasing its own profit – everything else be damned. (2008)

This is an information war, and it is highly possible that either Google Video is doing its part to help the corporate giant pull the wool over the public’s eyes so it can poison the planet with impunity, or has been threatened. Fight back! Spread the word and try to find a source for this extremely important expose’ about collusion between the U.S. government and Monsanto. It is too important to put off. Our planet is in imminent peril because of the machinations of this evil corporation.

If left to its own devices it (Monsanto) will most certainly destroy the livelihood of millions of farmers – a process begun a decade ago in India and certainly in many other countries as well. The planet's ecosystems will be seriously threatened by unnatural ways of changing agricultural patterns. The dangers of GMO cultivation to the environment come in many forms:

· Switching from age-old biodiverse crops that can tolerate low-level amounts of water to industrial monocultures of crops such as GM soya, cotton, sugarcane, etc. that require large amounts of irrigation.

· Inundating cultivated lands with toxic herbicides, in particular the dangerous Monsanto product Roundup, to which the GMO seeds have been made biotechnically resistant. Any other growth should succumb to Roundup, were it not for the fact that weeds to a very large extent become Roundup resistant.

· Putting an end to biological farming and poisoning non GM cultures through pollenization from GM crops and accidental exposure to Roundup herbicide.

· Deforestation to make more land available for the culture of the GM seeds Monsanto sells at high prices to poor farmers. (O’Neall, 2008)

This issue is too important to put off. Please, try to find the video. People need to have this information. “The World According to Monsanto” is one of the most important videos I have ever seen. Help expose Monsanto!

A (Somewhat Neglected) CIA Connection to the Franklin Cover-Up: The Carmen Group PR & Lobbying Form

From the Omaha World-Herald, Nov 20, 1988:

... Last summer, at the Republican convention in New Orleans, [Lawrence] King orchestrated a party for about 1,000 people under the auspices of the Council on Minority Americans, a group that he headed.

Held inside the building where Mardi Gras floats are stored, the reception featured ample helpings of food amid 50-foot-high Cleopatra statues and other Mardi Gras decorations.

King hired a Washington, D.C., public relations firm to help with the event and prepare a short film that was shown to guests. King's catering company provided food and Omaha florist Daniel Janousek took a staff to New Orleans to set up displays of exotic flowers.

"Clearly it was an expensive party," said David Carmen of Carmen, Carmen & Hugel Inc., the firm hired by King. In an interview from Washington, Carmen estimated that the event cost about $00,000.

Although the council was the sponsor of the event, Carmen said, he believes that the bills went to King. Court records indicate that Carmen's firm was paid $7,839 by King, but Carmen said not all that money was for New Orleans expenses. He said his firm also assisted King in applying for federal grants.

Carmen said King has hired other Washington consultants and public relations aides on other projects.

"Larry has a pretty high profile in Washington," he said. "He's donated to a lot of causes."

Human Events, Apr 23, 2007

As New Hampshire conservatives consider their options in OS, they also mourn the passing of one of their longtime leaders. Max Hugel, businessman and longtime contributor to conservative causes and candidates, died on February 19 of cancer. He was 81.

Many who knew the quick-witted entrepreneur and recalled the generosity with which he assisted conservatives were surprised to learn that the Bronxborn Huge! was raised in an orphanage. At age 18, he enlisted in the U.S. Army during World War II. He attended the Military Intelligence School at the University of Michigan and became fluent in Japanese. Hugel served in Japan during the post-war occupation.

After his discharge, he held a variety of jobs, and in 1954, he launched Brother International Corp., the U.S. arm of the Japanese exporter of sewing machines. He sold the company in 1975 and then became chief operating officer of Centronics Data Computer Corp. in New Hampshire, which manufactured early computer printers. In 1980. Hugel helped Ronald Reagan win the New Hampshire presidential primary and then chaired the national voters group division in the general election.

William J. casey, Reagan's campaign manager and later CIA director, named Hugel. with whom he had been friends since they were both in business in New York, as deputy director for administration and then deputy director for operations at the intelligence agency. Although he denied any wrongdoing, Hugel left following published reports that he had profited from insider stocktrading deals. Hugel won a libel suit against his accusers.

Hugel then joined fellow New Hampshire Reaganaut Gerald Carmen in launching the Carmen Group, which would become one of the top Washington. D.C.. lobbying firms. In 1983, Hugel and three partners purchased Rockingham thoroughbred race track after a fire destroyed it. Under his aegis, the races at the park again became one of New Hampshire's largest tourist attractions.

Max Hugel, 81; CIA deputy helped rebuild Rockingham

By Globe Staff
February 24, 2007

Max Hugel, who had a tumultuous stint as director of the CIA's covert operations before helping to rebuild Rockingham Park race track after a devastating fire, died of cancer Monday at his horse farm in Ocala, Fla. He was 81.

Mr. Hugel was also a voice for conservative issues in New Hampshire. ...

After being named CIA director in 1981, Casey sought to shake up the agency and choose Mr. Hugel, an outsider businessman with scant experience in espionage, as head of overseas clandestine activities.

It was a job that had traditionally been filled by an intelligence professional.

Many in the intelligence community and on Capitol Hill derided Mr. Hugel as a political appointee.

His tenure lasted only five months. A pair of former business associates who were brothers accused him of improper stock-trading practices, a charge that Mr. Hugel vehemently denied. The allegations, plus backlash from agents and career officials inside the Central Intelligence Agency, prompted Mr. Hugel to resign as deputy director.

No federal or state authorities charged him of wrongdoing. Mr. Hugel later sued the brothers for libel in connection with news reports about the events in the Washington Post and won.

In 1983, Mr. Hugel joined three other partners to buy Rockingham Park. The race track, oldest in New England, had been closed since a fire three years earlier.

For much of the next quarter century, Mr. Hugel was chairman of the partners' group, Rockingham Venture Inc. The group had also run Seabrook Dog Track.

The partners introduced night racing to Rockingham Park, along with expanded simulcasting, poker nights, and other off-season activities. Despite industrywide difficulties in horse racing, Rockingham has remained one of the Granite State's leading tourist attractions.

"Everyone at the track is certainly going to miss Max," said a statement issued by Ed Callahan, vice president and general manager of Rockingham Park. "He was a tremendous character."

Mr. Hugel also had several other business ventures. After leaving an Army intelligence unit in the Far East in 1947, he founded a Japan-based export firm that he later merged into Centronics Data Computer Corp. of Hudson, N.H., an early maker of computer printers.

Most recently, he was vice chairman of the Carmen Group, a lobbying firm in Washington, D.C.

He maintained his interest in politics. Strongly backed by archconservative publisher William Loeb of the Manchester Union-Leader, Mr. Hugel nearly won the chairmanship of the state GOP committee in 1985, losing to Elsie Vartanian, who had the support of Governor John Sununu.

Mr. Hugel, who had also lived in Nashua and Windham, N.H., leaves his wife, Diane of Ocala, Fla.; four children, Susan of Parkland, Fla., Richard of Oakton, Va., David of Springfield, Va., and Christine Robey of Goshen, Ky.; and 10 grandchildren.

Memorial services and burial will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a date to be announced.

Rigorous Intuition's Review of My Duncan/Blake "Suicide" Investigation

After the research was posted, I didn't hear so much as a small sucking sound from the blogospheroids. Here is the first considered opinion I've found on the Duncan/Blake compilation - from someone who has followed it in the details, where God is, and has the research background to connect the roachlike dots. BTW, the third "suicide" that mentioned is Hannah Wit - note the weird coincidence in the name. It's not the first. Revelation that I haven't explained yet: the killers of Dunan and Blake were involved in many other murders, inlcluding the Lexington Comair crash of two years ago and (I believe) the death of Heath Ledger, stories I've been following closely at this blog lately. (Two years ago, they tried to kill me, as well, and this is one reason I'm on this story like superglue.) Names have an important role in these operations, because there is a homicidal "game" afoot, and it involves "playing" with names. Some day, I will explain this in detail.

The latest update on the misguided, hopeless "libel" suit that the RI reviewer, mentions is here.

From Jeff Wells' Rigorous Intuition website:

The Wit of the Staircase: Revisited

And I wanted to pass on a major thing: Alex Constantine seems to have done everyone a favor by linking pretty well the Duncan and Blake "suicidings" to murder motives since they were getting damn close to the Franklin Cover-up federal and Omaha level pedophilia, MKULTRA making, drug-muling elite once more.

It's where that story was leading before they were assuredly killed.

Constantine turns up a THIRD suspicious death as those who were tying up the loose ends wanted to remove all the witnesses.

The Cownie person that the "Wit of the Staircase" was investigating before said Wit turned up dead was actually PART of the federal investigation of the Franklin Cover-up in the first place, 20 years ago.

Other things at the link. It took about six hours for me to read it all.

And Constantine got an A+ on his research, because he was immediately sued to remove the Duncan/Blake information from the web. Strange world when research cross-checking and verification comes with a lawyer's email to threaten cease and desist. Come on, Jeff, document to your heart's content or it's sick or whatever! Don't you want to be sued for investigative reporting as a reward? Legal suits to censor are the Pulitzer Prize of the criminal state.

See who just sued him and who he was as well.

So download the page and save it, even though the legal case has no standing at all as Constantine explains. He's certainly a cousin of Eddie Constantine, a relative who patrolled a modern day Alphaville via a cyberworld of links and came up with the goods on our current pedo-technocratic dictatorship. (The opening thread deals with him exploring the 'data mining' theme among the Mockingbird press that spun the story of the "suicides" so well, and that soon gets into the pedophilia linked areas itself.)

It's a rather predictable theme: "round up the usual suspects" though rarely do you see so many in play all at once. Something novel to me was some background on some international legal firms that I wasn't aware of before as typical suspects for generations. Just watch these bagmen move around and you will see the fish below the ice sometimes. So, sorry Duncan and Blake this is all we got for you, another story of

priests and cannibals, prehistoric animals
everbody happy as the dead come home
big black nemesis
popular biogenesis
no one moves a muscle as the Wit of the Staircase comes home.

What was special for me was the background into the main lawfirms organizing it all. If you want to connect the dots to the 'white shoe firms' and their families just follow more about the Whitneys and the Allens (which he doesn't--though Whitney and Allen--both biggie Bones families by the way and likely lots worse...).

Learn the players, collect the cards, predict the next house of cards to be erected.

The usual suspects will be behind it.

Like a bad movie sequel it feels like recycled, older, and increasingly less believable acting. Though these movie sequels and their aging stars keep rolling in more money than ever each time they do it. It starts to look like self-satire when they commit the same crimes over and over and keep getting away with it.

Perhaps Jeff is tired of writing the 50th movie sequel so to speak of a story that always ends the same: where he already knows the final scene in any of his blog posts is required by contract to be "though the criminals escape yet again, stay tuned" ad nauseum. I can't blame him for that nausea at the topic over the past several years.

As IC is likely to chime in and say, though do we require any more sequels once you understand the main theme that we have to change everything.

Liberty Seven: Trial and Trial again in an FBI Travesty
April 26, 2008

Give federal prosecutors their due for imaginative charges to go on top of their prosecution of imaginary plots. In their attempt to convict six Florida men of plotting to blow up the Sears Tower in Chicago and FBI offices across the country, prosecutors are charging that the men were planning to trigger a big anti-government insurrection. If that's what the men were really up to, that alone should have tipped off prosecutors about the alleged plotters' loose screws.

Two juries so far appear to have caught on. In December, the jury convened in the first trial of the men, then numbering seven and known as the Liberty City Seven (after the poor Miami neighborhood where they live), acquitted one of them and couldn't decide what to do about the rest. Prosecutors convened a second trial and tried again. Same result: hung jury. The jury couldn't agree on a single charge for a single defendant. Wednesday, prosecutors announced they'd try again with a third trial and a third jury. Security alone, so far, has cost more than $1 million. The cost of the trials is several times more that. Taxpayers are footing the bill of what looked like a travesty of justice almost from the beginning.

FBI informants posed in spring 2006 as al-Qaida operatives. They hooked up with poor Haitians in Miami's Liberty City neighborhood, all of them in their 20s or early 30s, and began coaxing them -- if not coaching them -- into saying anti-American things. Their leader, Narseal Batiste, was a FedEx deliveryman who organized Bible readings and dabbles in other religious traditions in the back of a store. Federal agents somehow tagged him and his buddies "a radical Islamic group" intent on destroying the United States. One informant managed to get one of the seven to utter an oath to al-Qaida.

The defendants had no weaponry. The FBI discovered no plans, either, nor money or any means or knowledge to prepare for an attack. Some of the men under arrest may not even have known where Chicago is. All of which lends at least some credence to the defense's claim that Batiste's worst crime was to tell the FBI informants what they wanted to hear in an attempt to con them out of some money. The only justice in this case would be to end it.

Iraq War Is Everyone Else's Fault, Feith Explains

By Dana Milbank
April 25, 2008; A03

Mistakes were made. But not by him.

Doug Feith, the No. 3 man at the Pentagon before, during and after the invasion of Iraq, has come in for his share of blame for the failures there -- in large part because he led the Pentagon policy shop that badly misstated the case for war and bungled the planning for the aftermath. Gen. Tommy Franks called him "the dumbest [bad word] guy on the planet." George Tenet of the CIA called his work on Iraq "total crap." And Jay Garner, once the American administrator in Iraq, deduced that Feith is "incredibly dangerous" and, "He's a smart guy whose electrons aren't connected."

Now Feith, whatever the state of his electrons, is showing just how dangerous he can be. He's written a book designed to settle the score with his many opponents in the administration, and in a book-launch event last night at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, he pointed his finger every which way but inward. ...

Lexington Comair Crash, Part 8: The GPS Angle - Enter God (also Swift Boat & Iran Contra Vets)

By Alex Constantine

The Intergraph base in HUNTSVILLE, Alabama, home of Nazi Paperclips, the conquest of space, and a very active, God-fearing Republican Army.

While fishing for data on Intergraph, an interesting connection turned up in political campaign public disclosure files – several donations from Intergraph "software scientist" (as she described her occupation in the designated box) Frances Taylor, 8811 Willow Hills Drive, Huntsville, Alabama, to an infamous Bush campaign lobby. Ms. Taylor made several contributions to the Texas-based Swift Boat Veterans for Truth in the 2004 election cycle.49 In fact, she was listed among top contributors to the well-known psyop front (it's the first mention of Swift Boaters in this investigation, but it won't be the last.)

Taylor revels in her "conservatism." She is chair of Republican Women of Huntsville.50 In May 2005, her club (located in Alabama Republican Women's District Five, where the state coordinator is Sandra Schimmelpfennig, an active Condoleeza Rice supporter who seems to have suffered a bit of cardiac arrest in the midst of the current election year and had to be placed on a respirator, sponsored a power luncheon at the swank Valley Hill Country Club.
Sandra Schimmelpfennig (far-right) is already campaigning for Condoleeza Rice in '08. Get well soon, Ms. Schimmelpfennig. The Reich needs you!

Bible-pounding Judge Roy Moore was invited to speak at the luncheon. His rumbling oratory held the gathering "spellbound," the Huntsville Times observed after the event.51

The Republican "philosophy about the relationship between God and government distinguishes them from everybody else," Moore said. Quoting liberally from the Declaration of Independence and presidents Lincoln and Reagan, the state's highest-ranking judge stressed that the Republic is "based on the principle that citizens have God-given rights. The role of government is not to split God from everybody."

Roy Moore in his prime

Judge Moore also signed copies of his new book, So Help Me God: The Ten Commandments, Judicial Tyranny and the Battle for Religious Freedom. A career cameo: "A 1969 graduate of the U.S. Military Academy, Moore served five years in the Army. He entered law school at the University of Alabama in 1974 and was sworn in as Etowah County's first full-time deputy district attorney in 1977. He was elected circuit judge in Etowah County in 1995." Judge Moore, who once stirred a controversy by hanging the Ten Commandments on a wall in his courtroom, was victorious in his run for
the state chief justice seat in 2000. Upon assuming office, he had a 2 1/2-ton granite Ten Commandment monument moved to the lobby of the state Justice Building.

The Ten Commandments

Intergraph is a conservative company, deeply entrenched in CIA-Republican scandals of various hues, a veritable rainbow coalition of felonies with ties to the upper-crust of the Bush regime.52

Intergraph director Dr. Lawrence R. Greenwood sits on Intergraph's audit and compensation committees. "He spent fifteen years with NASA," the Intergraph site reports, "serving as director of the Earth Observations Division in NASA Headquarters."

Dr. Greenwood is former president of Nichols Research Corporation, an SDI sub-contractor that has been instrumental in fake TRW-sponsored missile defense field tests - a firm since entrusted, incredibly enough, with testing ES&S voting machine software certification.53

Nichols Research was bought up by the scandal-ridden Computer Services Corp. (CSC), the parent of DynCorp, the torture and dchild porn folk, in 1999. Greenwood was a VP and general manager at the General Electric Astro Space Division, 1988 to 1991. He is also chairman of the board of directors at Teledyne.

On May 4, 2006, the AP reported that a twin-engine DC-9 had taken off the month before from St. Petersburg-Clearwater Airport bound for Venezuela - "five days later, the plane landed at an airport in Mexico near the Gulf Coast. The Mexican Army was waiting." The authorities seized the DC-9 and 128 black briefcases labelled "private." All told, the police reportedly pulled 5.5 tons of cocaine from the plane, some $100-million worth. Scattered reports in the press soon connected the jet to Saudi-owned Royal Sons LLC, battle-scarred Tom Delay and his clîque of rich Texas Republicans, complex stock frauds, a clutch of Kentucky investors, the CIA ... and ultimately Intergraph.

The plane was licensed to SkyWays Communications. Back in 2003, SkyWay announced that the company, based in Clearwater, Florida, was "developing a unique ground to air in-flight aircraft communication network that it anticipates will facilitate homeland security and in-flight entertainment. SkyWay Aircraft is focused on bringing to the market a network supporting aircraft-related service including anti-terrorism support, real time in-flight surveillance and monitoring."54That put the mind at ease ... a CIA-Republican narco-terrorist cell spying on the hapless proletariat ... but there was more neo-conservative Orwellianism at play here: "SkyWay Communications Holding Corporation (OTCBB:SWYC), and its wholly owned subsidiary, SkyWay Aircraft, Inc. are very pleased to announce that Mr. Brent C. Kovar, president and the developer/inventor of the high-speed communications transfer technology utilized by SkyWay, has been appointed to serve on the National Republican Congressional Committee Business Advisory Council."

Congressman Tom Delay, majority Leader, appointed Kovar. The appointment was "in recognition of his valuable contributions and dedication to the Republican Party." Kovar was "expected to play a crucial role in the Party's efforts to involve top business people in the process of government reform both at the state and federal levels."55

SkyWay was not your average, work-a-day airline. It was an intelligence front. When Florida Cuban-Republican Senator Mel Martinez struck out on his 2004 two-day "American Dream Tour," he leased a 45-foot motor coach "used by rock groups and country music stars," the St. Petersburg Times reported, and "switched to a DC-9 charter jet owned by Skyway Global, a Clearwater *SECURITY FIRM* whose owners are Martinez supporters."56

A year later, SkyWay Communications Holdings filed for Chapter 11 after throwing away, since its inception in 2002, $40-million. The crash of Clearwater-based Skyway and its subsidiaries left behind a "a trail of tangled litigation and angry investors," according to the Tampa Bay Business Journal on May 26, 2005, "including 24 Kuwaiti and Saudi nationals and a group
of 90 shareholders in Kentucky" who charged that they'd invested "retirement savings and college funds" in a company "that promised to protect airplanes from terrorism ... "57

And what was Kovar's actual product? The journal described the beating heart of SkyWay: "Skyway Communications Holdings was based on a algorithm Tierra Verde resident Brent C. Kovar patented that was designed to revolutionize wireless communication for security and entertainment on airplanes." An algorithm. From this revelation, you might draw the conclusion that Kovar was running a series of sham corporations that served no other purpose than procuring post-9/11 defense contracts earmarked by well-lobbied congressmen, such as this one in partnership with San Diego's Titan Corporation, an appendage of L-3: "SkyWay Communications Holding Corp. and the Titan Corporation have entered into a teaming agreement for Titan to sell Skyways's high-speed airborne network services to the U.S. Government for use with selected military and homeland security applications. ... "58

David Stinson - former president of Intergraph's Process and Building Solutions Division and Brent Wilkes benefactor – signed. His relationship with Wilkes began with Dusty" Foggo, the CIA's third-in-command from 2004-06, and Brent Wilkes, already a household name associated with graft and the interminable Abramoff graft scandal.

The San Diego Union-Tribune reported in December that Wilkes "graduated from Hilltop High School in 1972, along with his football teammate and best friend Kyle Dustin 'Dusty' Foggo." Wilkes and Foggo were "roommates at San Diego State University," and "best men at each other's weddings and named their sons after each other. Wilkes' career in political relations dates to the early 1980s, shortly after Foggo joined the CIA. Foggo was sent to Honduras to work with the Contra rebels who were trying to topple the Sandinista government of Nicaragua."59

The Iran-contra Veterans for Sedition were back. Cocaine politics. CIA fronts. In the reactionary South ...

Desert Storm, Powell was chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, a period when geospatial technology was just emerging. He began using the technology to train for battle, Powell told the conference attendees. "If you knew where everyone was, you could see the whole battlefield," Powell said.
