SEX CIRCUIT: Max Mosley, president of the FIA Picture: AP
Max Mosley, president of motorsport’s governing body, the FIA, is said to have engaged in sex and Nazi role-playing with prostitutes.
The UK tabloid the News of the World reported that Mosley, 67, paid five prostitutes R40000 in cash for a five-hour orgy.
The session was caught on recording tape.
A son of the founder in the 1930s of the British Union of Fascists, Sir Oswald Mosley, Max Mosley is reportedly shown on video screaming orders in German and lashing girls wearing concentration camp uniforms.
Mosley senior, who had Adolf Hitler as guest-of-honour at his wedding, died in 1980.
A man whom the tabloid claims is Mosley, is shown on the film being whipped by the prostitutes before having sex with them.
Then everyone had a nice cup of tea. An FIA spokesman said the organisation would not comment on a personal matter.
Formula1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone said he was shocked but believed that Mosley’s position as FIA president was not in jeopardy.
Ecclestone told the London Times: “I’ve known him an awful long time. If somebody had told me this without the evidence I would have found it difficult to believe.
“Assuming it’s all true, what people do privately is up to them. I don’t honestly believe it affects the sport in any way. Knowing Max, it might be all a bit of a joke.”
But Holocaust Centre director Stephen Smith said Mosley should not stay on as president.
“As Mr Mosley has condemned the racism in motor sport, he should live up to the standards he sets. This is an insult to millions of victims, survivors and their families. He should apologize. He should resign.”
